Paper-based tracking of village water facilities led to fragmented data, delayed interventions, and a lack of real-time visibility for the impact teams based in Hyderabad. Without a digital thread, prioritizing village needs was a reactive and slow process.

We engineered a field-hardened digital tool to capture high-fidelity social data in remote environments:

  • Offline-First Data Entry: Developed an AppSheet interface that allows field workers to capture detailed surveys in villages with zero connectivity.
  • Geospatial Verification: Integrated automated GPS logging to map water facility locations with precision, eliminating reporting errors.
  • Visual Audit Engine: Enabled photo documentation linked directly to survey entries, providing unshakeable visual proof of facility status.
  • Real-Time Syncing: Configured the system to sync data to the Hyderabad hub the moment a field worker enters a networked area, enabling immediate management review.
